Good morning,
I have moved a bathroom wall to enlarge the bathroom. Previously the door was swinging outside and there was a small area in front of it. I have moved the wall bringing it closer to the staircase that is coming from the ground floor but with the door swinging inwards now. My friend is claiming that this might be against building regulations. I have done some online research but there does not seem to be any restriction regarding this.
Anyone can you please advise if this is ok? I don't want to check with Building inspector as if it's not ok I don't want to bring any attention to it.
I would be grateful for any advice.
Thank you.
Ben.

You have still got a landing at the top of the stairs and the doors don't open out on to the landing so that is ok.
