Funnily enough I got the independant today -freebie from Waitrose. Its not a bad paper, certainly not partisan like most of the others.
The headline is "PMs climate meltdown" and underneath:

'I have never lied' Johnson tells ITV in exclusive sit-down

My wife picks up the Telegraph, so I shall read both and contrast!
The Telegraph gives the impression of a serious broadsheet, but its really a cover for a Boris Johnsons personal propaganda machine. It really is embarrassing the depths of dishonesty the Telegraph stoops to......everyday this week its had page after page of anti Corbyn garbage.

It seems a shame, as I always considered the Independent and the i to be that - neutral. But the i won't be neutral any longer - unless the Viscount Rothermere has a feeling that Labour might actually win, so wants to hedge his bets!

Not half as embarrassing as your faith and loyalty to dingbat jezza

Yawn yawn yawn.

This narrative: 'if you criticise Conservatives your must be a rabid Leftie'.......is really tedious.

I know you are more intelligent than that, please yourself a favour and rise above it.

Ps: I hope you're enjoying London....... its a truly amazing place. Last week I drove up through Richmond park to Putney.

Circulation and profits at the extreme RW Wail have been falling for years. Rothermere booted out his long-term rabid editor already.

Elderly RWRs have been dropping off the perch, and the ethos of the RW media like the Express and the Torygraph are so vile that they have few young readers.

You see the same thing happening with the tiny membership of the Con party, and the age of Con voters.

Which European country has the largest and most committed pro-EU movement?

Excellent Its good it has exceeded your expectations -its a vibrant city, lots of cool places away from Leicester square Oxford street.

If you are still there, the South bank is great - theres a Christmas market, atmospheric after dark. I used to go to the Hyde park Xmas market, but its too crowded these days.
