Hi All,

We have just noticed mouse dropping in our kitchen cupboards. I think its confined to one side of the kitchen and I can see a couple of entry points for cables - out of the ground - which may have been their entry route.

My wife is having a melt down and I have no idea on what to do. Can you please help?

Many thanks

Hmm logic says

Get on Amazon..
Order
Mouse traps
Mouse poison.

Put in cupboard and wait.

Or spray foam or seal holes with sealant to stop all entry holes. Personally I'd zap them first so they dont try and get in other ways.

Poison of course means they may die just out of reach and smell a bit (inconsiderate little critters)

any issues with spray foaming cable and pipe entry holes?
Also, can I get something from the sheds today. Any product that is recommended?

Thanks again

Welcome bud, i don't see any issues using spray foam apart from making sure you don't put too much in holes, remember it expands many times over once you inject in holes, can have a habit of oozing back out, make sure area masked to prevent that stuff sticking to your finest crock.

Sheds today? Me no understand. You mean from your shed?

sorry, from somewhere like B and Q or Screwfix as they are open today.

Yes both open for essential items only, if it can wait id consider ordering and getting it delivered for the safety of everyone.

Mouse traps with a bit of cheese in them and try and find how they got in - that can be from simply leaving a door open. Rare maybe but tough luck if it happens.

With the traps, is it advisable to catch the mice first and then seal the holes?

Be prepared to finish em off, the trap doesn't always kill them, I used a block of wood and a brick
