Black Lives Matter Protests Today in UK

Yes. If there was a fire in a building I'd expect a mass evacuation through fire exits etc and zero social distancing and mass gatherings at those exits.

If I was in that tower that night. I would have put my family first and ignored what the fire brigade said... Cummings put his family first......

Have you been out protesting.... Have you bent the knee?

The comparison of Cummings and the protesters is important.
Cummings weighed up what his priorities were, and decided his priorities allowed him to ignore the instructions to remain at home.
His actions were defended by the PM.
Now that the protesters have mimicked Cummings thought processes, and decided what their priorities ought to be, those that supported and defended Cummings are the very same people that are criticising the protesters.

To draw another example, when people go to war, they are fully aware that they may die, but they still go in the full knowledge that they must do what they must do, at that time, not some indeterminable time in the future.

I don't

I celebrate him as the only honest man ever to enter Parliament with the intent to do good.
big shout. what about aneurin bevan. bet your one of the hypocrites who stand outside banging pans on a thursday.

Let it go you moaning mini those BLM protests today have killed infinitely more people than one man isolated in his car will ever achieve.
One man isolated in his car (with his wife and child, travelling around the country, we don't know to what extent they left their car, or where else they went, or how frequently) set an example because of his position. His actions were defended by the PM.

Yes of course.
I'd be careful if I were you.

Who would be dumb enough to travel hundreds of miles AND visit a castle whilst knowing both you and your fellow rule breaker are sick? You'd expect to be sacked at the least. Those rioters have a great excuse now that Dom and Bozza have stuck their two fingers up to the rules.

I was unaware of that, the BBC has been painting him as some gentle giant that everyone loves - may be not?
Because the victim was a known criminal does not justify police brutality.
The protest, like other protests before it, is against police brutality.
It has now evolved into a protest against racism.
I would have thought that everyone who believes racism is a scourge on society would at least support the cause.
In fact, if everyone supported the cause, racism could be eradicated.

The stupidity of most people with these views at rallies is most certainly going to kill family and friends and loved ones of a group most at risk,Cummings or others won't be concerned in the slightest.

No-one suggested Cummings would be concerned. He has already demonstrated his lack of concern for his fellow humans.
The PM defended his actions. Therefore the PM appears to have little concern for his fellow humans.

Oh my god and we have another one.

'Don't gather in crowded places as it can significantly spike the R value'

No matter how you argue it, arranging to meet en mass in an area of 1000's and 1000's of people bares no resemblance to one person going for a drive in your car.' no not multiple 1000's n 1000's it was just him before you twist it.

When you're the boss you dictate the rules, some people especially resentful people that can't accept the privileged chose to not accept this simple principle.

Despite what the placards may say, black lives or any other lives, clearly don’t matter to those protesters.
