Did you hear or read that the sun rose this morning?
It did happen. Just because you don't hear or read anything about it, does not mean it didn't happen.
Otherwise I could argue that I didn't hear or read about Covid 19 affecting share prices, therefore it didn't happen.
Your whingeing was a direct reply to sodthisforfuns post, I read her post, I stand by my statement, you're delusional himmy.

Someone else who thinks an assertion, without any logical or coherent argument is sufficient to prove a point.
It reinforces my point that there is a distinct lack of logical and reasoned discussions, purely insults, assertions and pointless comments, from the main protagonists.

Try another forum, try mumsnet.I'm sure they can deal with cry baby's.

With this 'rona shoite, anyone planning on going on holiday anytime soon must be wildly optimistic, desperate, thick, loaded, or completely ignorant of the situation IMHO.

It is akin to going "all-inclusive" to a warzone in a ceasefire, in the hope that it won't kick off again while you're there.
it could be the time to visit some of these cities of architectural splendour like Venice or Florence and enjoy a little peace and quiet to take it all in before the hoards come back - we wouldn't take the risks ourselves but I wouldn't hold it against someone who did providing they accept it could go very pear shaped and find themselves locked in their hotel room for weeks then further spells in quarantine on their return to the UK.

If we want an economy to look forward to then someone needs to get back out into the shops bars and cafes - I'm just going to be watching from the sidelines for a few more weeks yet, see how safe it is first

people should have enough common sense to stay in the country at least.
wtf are 600,000 people doing in spain during a pandemic?
why not just get a flight to wuhan and eat fekkin bat sh!t sandwiches.
i’ll be ecstatic if they all die.

I'd prefer for them to get the corona and then get over it, but live with the deliberating conditions that we are hearing more and more about, for the rest of their lives.
death is preferable. otherwise too much ongoing stress in the nhs. i’m already paying for a service i’m not using, lets at least keep it to a point where there’s a chance we’ll get a service when we need it.
