it could be the time to visit some of these cities of architectural splendour like Venice or Florence and enjoy a little peace and quiet to take it all in before the hoards come back - we wouldn't take the risks ourselves but I wouldn't hold it against someone who did providing they accept it could go very pear shaped and find themselves locked in their hotel room for weeks then further spells in quarantine on their return to the UK.With this 'rona shoite, anyone planning on going on holiday anytime soon must be wildly optimistic, desperate, thick, loaded, or completely ignorant of the situation IMHO.

If we want an economy to look forward to then someone needs to get back out into the shops bars and cafes - I'm just going to be watching from the sidelines for a few more weeks yet, see how safe it is first

I'd prefer for them to get the corona and then get over it, but live with the deliberating conditions that we are hearing more and more about, for the rest of their lives.
