Hands face space.

It's the governments trendy new three-word slogans.

I hope that's clear, folks?

The national flag of Romania is a tricolor with vertical stripes, beginning from the flagpole: blue, yellow and red.

It's very 'nursery school' the colours, the pictures as well as another naff slogan.
Someone got paid a lot to come up with that

I suspect it will be clear to everyone except TV presenters/reporters/interviewers and Brexit remainers. (y)
It's designed for brexiteers

3 words is their limit

It's a shame they can't understand "rules of origin"

Maybe it’s for the BAMEs. Remember, a lot of them can’t speak English.
A lot of them are consultants, doctors, surgeons - they have better English as a 2nd language than many youngsters - which you will know as you teach them -almost illiterate a lot of em.

It's six words FFS.

Even the really thick can cope with that, but the pretend thick will probably just have to get infected and die out naturally.

Wash Hands........Cover Face.........Make Space.
Sorry but the doomsayers will complain it is too confusing and seek more clarification. :(:(

Hands face space.
That’s not what it says

Yes, and when I need to speak to a parent, a translator is sometimes needed.

Mottie likes to show off his racism.
It’s not racist to say that some BAMEs (the most vulnerable groups) cannot understand English.

He doesn't realise he is doing it.
I’m not "doing it"

It's six words FFS.
Hooray, someone that can read. (y)

FYI, my post was not 'racist', it’s just one of a number of reasons that I have seen that could be a contributory factor in what certain groups of people seem to be infected more than others. Public Health England think the same. Are you lot saying they are racist? Grow up and stop looking for arguments.

"Recommendations include:
Culturally sensitive public health messaging so that people, particularly those who may not speak English as a first language, understand the advice on how to protect themselves".

Yes, but the point is BAMEs are not the only ones who might not speak English well.

We shall remind you the next time you do it.

I know that. It’s a sign for all people whose first language us not English. Some BAMEs and visitors from overseas might not be able to understand the words "Wash hands, cover face, make space". It’s to help them. It’s not racist. If I was, for example, on holiday in Spain and I saw the words 'lavarse las manos, cubrirse la cara, hacer espacio' I wouldn’t have a clue what it meant. However, the pictures give me a good clue.

I think the comments aimed at me just go to reinforce the types of people I mentioned in my first post in this thread that will have difficulty in understanding a basic, simple message even when it has signs included.
