Well, prepare for total and unintended lockdown at this rate .......

Aforementioned bloke (and his family, including his kids who should be at school) are now self - isolating, until either 14 days have elapsed, or he tests negative.

He's been up half of the night, trying to get a test of any description.
By putting in his actual postcode, he gets "no tests" at all.
By putting in a local postcode, he's been offered tests in :

Elgin
Dornock
Aberdeen (Airport).

He's in sunny Staffs.

According to the NHS website, there are no postal tests.

On the basis that most of the country is going to have a sniffle in the coming weeks and months, we're all going (at some point) either have to hide for a fortnight, or take a test that you can't actually access.......

I cut the grass today. So much easier to see the brown eggs that the dog has laid.

My wife just been diagnosed with pneumonia, which she didn't know she had as she doesn't have a cough or any chest pain etc. Home treatment with antibiotics because it's safer than hospital.
Just seen the MIL off in an ambulance, possible chest infection/blood clot/covid, if its the latter we will have to quarantine, waiting to hear from hospital, had to cancel our three night break in the Peak District, vans all loaded up with bikes & walking gear, brandy & wine
How's your families folks?

My wife still has pneumonia and still getting small AF's, but not quite as bad as it was, which is a small comfort.
Think it's going to be a long journey but heading in the right direction.
Thank you for asking.
Antibiotics taking their time eh. Keeping fingers crossed it doesn't take as long as you suspect and she will be right as rain as soon as :)

Been on intravenous antibiotics for a week, coming home Monday, while the rest of the family have been sorting stuff out my crazy SIL has been phoning the GP & hospital complaining about the treatment which has been top notch as usual
Very pleased she's coming home, phew! Sorry about the SIL ;)
