Hi,
A friend has asked whether I can run an ethernet lead between his house and a neighbours about 50 metres away so he can share their ultrafast broadband that he can't get in his road.
Of course, that's easy but I have only ever done to outbuildings on the same electricity supply before and there is a nagging thought that I have to be concerned with earthing here... It'll be using an armoured CAT6 cable between the two houses. It will link two routers together.
What is the consensus on how this should be handled please?
Thanks
Graham
