2 things to consider.

Does the mirror/shaver light have an output socket ? use that for 1

MK sell a socket outlet which could be fitted in the bedroom (although if John says you don't need isolation :sneaky:, you could fit 2 in a bathroom, into a double box and it look tidy)
Against manufacture instructions though

Although I've had no involvement in this thread (but nor has any other John), is that a reference to me?

If so, I'm not quite sure what you are suggesting. Yes, you could install two (or more) of those (non-isolated) ones in a bathroom - but, as with any other 'sockets', only if they were all 3 metres or more from the bath/shower - which is not possible in many bathrooms.

... or were you talking about something, or someone, else?

sorry I meant John Ward / flameport. Good tip though about the 3m. Worth considering ...
Thanks for clarifying!

The 3 metre rule is obviously useful when applicable, but, as I implied, I doubt that there are many 'ordinary' bathrooms in which it would be possible for shaver sockets (or anything else!) to be ≥3m from the bath/shower - and that, even if the room were big enough, that might not be where people would want such sockets to be.

If one needs two, and doesn't have the 3m to play with, I think that the only real solution is to have two, separate, 'isolated' ones.

Just buy two toothbrushes the same and share the charger as and when required or is that too simple?

Indeed, and there's really no reason why they have to be the same toothbrushes with the same charger. As was said early on ...
Assuming it's a pair of chargers you want to plug in, why not simply use them on alternate days with a standard shaver socket - the toothbrush battery should last at least 7 days without a recharge.

Where does the shaver plug in!!!!
He said that his wife and himself both had toothbrushes, such that he needed two outlets to plug them into - he said nothing about there also being a shaver, which would presumably have brought his total requirement up to 3 outlets

They generally can't as they are different taps on the same transformer. Also, strangely enough toothbrush chargers are the one thing that only work at 230V OR 120V. A european toothbrush does charge up in the states but it takes forever.

My toothbrush and shaver both work at anything between 100v and 250v and the charging time is the same as they are switched mode power supplies. I always use the 110v outlet as the 240v outlet goes up to around 275v on low load.

You could share the same shaver too, Phillips lady shave have a good following (other shavers are available).

Me-and-helper2.jpg Why do you need a shaver? Never worked out what they are for.
