The division is already there, like it or not. This is about balance, inclusivity, learning history, celebration of other lives - to create togetherness. It seems you do have trouble understanding.

Boogerman if you want to take a 'win' from this debate its all yours my friend, i see the analogy in your post but it's flawed as it isn't necessarily so.
You too have taken to the 'what have you got against..' read it again i haven't, all i want is equality why are you hitting me with being anti black when i just want equality for 'being white' in a multi cultural society? Show me where i disagree with black or any other day month week.. of any colour creed ethnicity. I would go as far as to say because you disagree with my opinion you are attempting to stifle my view with the accusation of racism.

The stock answer is that there's already 11 white history months in the UK.

I already addressed this in a previous post.
Do you think there's a need to label a month of white history where we already have white history everywhere in the UK? Do people feel that threatened that we need to label it?
What you don't get is why there is a BHM. It certainly isn't to create divide, as you seem to think, quite the opposite.
Where's the flaw?
And what isn't necessarily so?
If you really wanted equality, you'd be arguing for Black History Year, or even longer, not trying to discredit it.
You already enjoy equality among your peers. It is not the same for non-white people.
And I have not accused you of being racist. Mistaken, misinformed, fear of losing your white privilege - possibly.
I'll try to restrain myself from laughing when you resort to your belief in fantasy.
