Bear in mind the vertical axis on the cases graph is 24 times smaller than the deaths.

I tried to adjust them to the same scale but it was not practical.

I wonder what the cause of the difference is.
 
Daily deaths of what or are you just trying to be alarmist? Who cares anyway. Your born you die, that's life.
 
Very little to do with treatment, in the first wave you only got tested if you were hospitalised and had clear symptoms. That means that the majority of people who didn't get hospitalised were missed.

Treatment does help reduce the mortality rate, but it's dwarfed by the lack of testing.

You get a clearer view if you plot the positive rate, in early months it was as high as 40% which is a massive sign you're missing lots of people. Typically we've seen under 5% since testing has ramped up.
