Too little? Too much? Too early? Too late?

FWIW I think it’s about right - what else could we do? Start coming down heavy on those that repeatedly break the rules perhaps?

Same as the first one.
Won't make any difference.

Too late imo. Why wait til the numbers are at 20 thousand (give or take) new cases a day? That's already starting to stress the NHS system and with other winter illnesses, I presume it will just get worse.

Unlike what Ryler thinks, the first did help. Numbers in hospitals went down in June/July/Aug after the stricter lockdown.

Just delays the inevitable.
Sooner we all get it the better.

All. It wil. Do is delay it for a while

Than in a month we will. Be back to. We're we were prior to the lock. Down

Than there will be another one etc etc

Tis all. Baloney imo.

Those who are at risk isolate and be done with

Let every one else get on with there lives

Exactly.
And all care home workers should be living in isolation with no contact with their families.
Some idiot worker brought it into a care home near me.
And they said the visitors were a bigger risk.

Yes, it will delay it. For very good reason.
The more people with it all at the same time, the more will die due to the NHS being completely overwhelmed. If hospital cases are controlled at a manageable number, there's more help for those in need - and not just covid.
