New kitchen tap - no hot water

Is the tap quarter turn? That immersion heater is dangerous, it should have a cover on it.

Edit: Your hot water outlet from the cylinder appears to be rising, could be causing an airlock.

Firstly, I'm afraid whoever fitted that was not a Plumber, classic giveaway of PTFE tape on compression joint threads for starters. I'd be checking there wasnt any debris blocking the hot supply before doing anything else.

Secondly, the Immersion heater has live terminals exposed, you must get an Electrician to look at it and make it safe. Edit, Chris has already spotted the immersion.

but if there was an airlock, I would have the same problem in the bathroom sink no? Bathroom sink works fine, i get hot water there.

I don't think it feeds the hot water for the tap, what do you think? I can try to open it as soon as my hot water tank is hot.

How do I check if there is debris blocking the hot supply?

Turn off supplies, disconnect flexi's from rigid pipework, I'd then fashion a shower hose or something to the open end of the hot supply then turn supply back on, check that runs clear and flow/pressure is as expected. Remove flexi from tap body, blow/look through it to ensure clear, reassemble, restore supplies. Check operation and for any leaks. If pipework is clear and situation doesn't improve, then probably new tap time.

There are quite a few low pressure mixer kitchen taps around,
Did you purchase that tap, do you still have the specification for it, so you can see what the MIN/MAX pressure is
0.1 / 0.5bar is lowish pressure - whereas a lot of those flexible taps need a high pressure.
for example, this is MIN 1bar (OUR mains pressure is around 1.5 , so this is quite high pressure , so i would look for 0.1/0.3 which we used all over the house, although the 0.5 worked OK for us, reduced flow

Others can be as low as 0.1bar

have a search for low pressure kitchen mixer taps, huge choice and price range , then look at the specification and MIN pressure - BAR , maybe 0.1/0.3 ish - can always post back here
BUT as stated it maybe a block, EVEN looking at the PTFE , maybe some covering the pipe hole itself & reducing flow.
