So what happens to gamestop?
Is this gonna cause their business to fail? Or will it now take off and make all the directors multi millionaires?
the price of shares and derivatives has no effect on the profitability of the business.

Some or all of the directors may have the good sense to dump their shares at prices which exceed their worth. The losers will be anyone who buys them and doesn't sell them on to another mug.

Could you imagine being a director. The business is in decline, share price low then BOOM you are a billionaire (if you sold at the right time). This whole thing could become very dangerous.

That failing company just about making a profit suddenly became worth $27000000000 (is a billion 9 or 12 zeros in America?)

money transferred to the lucky shareholders by a crowd of mug punters.

who have been tricked into believing they are "sticking it to the Man."

It is to be expected that the plotters who started the scam bought plenty at the cheap price.

You need to have a broad knowledge of how Wall St works to cut through all the BS that is being pumped out by these VERY powerfull hedge funds.

This is NOT a pump & dump, this is beautifull. They've lost $18+ BILLION so far . . . . !

The grass roots that kicked this off are estimated to number several hundred thousands & they're in it for a few $$$'s only. Anyone jumping in looking to ride the roller coaster they created is not a part of it.

Akin to saying "Care to lose $100 to see a leech loose millions?"?

How many peoples pensions are linked to these hedge funds? Some investors getting in on the Gamestop act will come unstuck , depending on when they bought. Talking of silver, I sold a couple of kilos in the last two weeks, isn't hindsight wonderful.

I watched a news clip yesterday of a guy in his 30's, lives in America, earns average wage maybe slightly below, he started to dabble in stocks/shares a few years back. He bought $4.5k worth of Gamestop shares ... now worth something like $1.2 million. He's not selling though, wants to ride the wave in the hope things continue to rise.

Must admit I'd be tempted to offload now.

$122 showing today and down from a high of $400+. There is only one way these are going.
