Thank you. One engineer?
Yes.
Thank you. One engineer?
Thanks. I have been quoted for 2 engineers for 2 days!
Ouch!
Powerflush for 4 rads? Be cheaper to replace the radiators....
The rads are only a couple of years old. At the end of the day, the Company say they have to power flush in line with the boiler manufacturer requirements. If it is so that my warranty is valid, it makes sense to get it done. Just don't think I will be using the current Company who have quoted.
A filter in the return to the boiler is though well worthwhile.
My last boiler was installed in around that amount of time, I was there, generally assisting and I absolutely cannot fault the work done -
But Holly wants it done in a day to save money, so just go for it, pay for a bboiler with a long warranty , that wont be honoured because the system water is mud , and the boiler was never commissioned properly, so just call the manu and say but @Harry Bloomfield said it would be fineSetting up
Powerflush half a day. I recommend new rad valves most of the time
Boiler installation half a day.
Cement flue
Wire controls
Commission
Clearing up
Hard days work....
If it was me I'd be quoting two days and if I get an early 2nd day then good for me.
I'd be more concerned about his quality...if he says its a days job

Where's Harry gone???????
