Hi all

The spring on my old Elu DS140 has snapped.

I am unable to remove the axel swivel (part number 40)

Does any one know how to remove it? I tried to tap it out but it didn't budge.

Doesn't grub screw #70 hold it in

It looks the same machine as my DW685K But not taken that apart.
Edit: forget that ive seen your pic and it looks to hold the brass bit in.
Maybe lock double nuts on and unscrew it?
Edit 2: Ive just had a closer look at this and at the bottom of the knurled adjusting knob there is a drilling of about 5-6 mm, if you shoved the shank of a drill of that size it would engage in the keyway acting as a lock to unscrew it as long as it doesn't damage the thread
