I still have not done anything (other than work from home) since Monday.
Wife saying we need to get out and do things. I am happy at home tbh!

So, what have people done this week that you could not do before Freedom Day?

Absolutely sod-all! Mrs Mottie got a free day from babysitting duties (Thursday is her babysitting day) as our son was off work. I suggested going out for a pub lunch which we have done pre-freedom day but she said not bloody likely - there’ll be too many people walking about with no masks!

Yeah, my wife's birthday in a couple of weeks, I suggested a pub lunch. Would be nice to sit out side, eat some pub grub and have a pint or two ...

Going to stay home and enjoy the pool while the sun is still shining though!

In future if you have a idea for a thread in this category; would you run it past Mottie first... This is his territory his sort of thread. He likes it his way..... I'm sure he'll let you have this one ...

It’s a good thread. I was the first to partake. I'll allow it just this once. Don’t make a habit of it though. ;)

Thats what I said.... you've been locked out of more threads than Djang has has had hot topics....

Leave it to the professionals ....I say..

Went to Asda to get a few things. As I got to the door I realised I had forgotten my mask, then recalled that it's no longer compulsory. Did my shopping naked - well that's what it felt like after wearing the muzzle for so long. Surprising number of other customers have now doffed their masks.

Well Monday I spent the day fitting 2 box sash bay windows on Uckfield high street.

it was flipping hot, so I decided to take it easy rest of the week….so been catching up with a list of jobs at the MILs.

Went to Homebase this morning, was surprised a fair number of people wearing masks (I did too as it seems only polite to do so).

'Freedom Day'?

Haven't noticed a difference...

I guess it's up to the individual, but I haven't routinely worn a mask throughout.
Except if a friend asked me to do so, for example in a car trip...

Oh and also in my visit to A&E out of courtesy.
