Currys PC world Insurance

My TV is damaged. I took out the 5 year extra cover with currys in which I thought covered accidental damage.

They now tell me that it's not covered for accidental damage ..

Has anyone got any of experience with their insurance.

its unlikely to cover much of anything that you weren't already covered for, under statutory rights or manufacturers warranty.

It's had a dink in the screen... my fault but that's what's insurance is for

Never taken out an insurance policy on any household item (except for richer sounds goods) and over the years have saved thousands...

It could seem like that but I'm an honest guy who wouldn't break my TV for gain.... I have two young children and no TV. why o why would anyone do such a thing

If accidental damage isn't a mishap, what is it?

I think they have changed their policy now Accidental damage is not included... who knows what they mean about Mishap.

Lesson in life now I've looked into it they are just selling a warranty that mirrors the Manufacturer warranty apart from they promise to have it resolved in 7 Days.. not worth a fig really.
