leaving the sinking Ship - Brexit SS

Germany's trade surplus was funded by poorer EU countries, it really is as simple as that.
What would be even simpler, surely would be for you to prove that there were special EU rules for the UK which forbade us from exporting as sucessfully as Germany did, and thats one way in which being in the EU held us back.

I mean - you have decided to pitch in, so surely you must know where the proof of that is?

Unless, I guess, you dont care if you, or people you support, tell the truth or not.

I wonder which impression of yourself you want to leave us with.

What would be even simpler, surely would be for you to show that because the UK contributed less to the EU budget than Germany it put our economy at a disadvantage to theirs.

I mean - you have decided to pitch in, so surely you must be able to make an intelligently argued case for that claim?

I have absolutely no f*****g idea what you're talking about.

Given that you quoted what Im talking about:

Im still waiting for you to prove that there were special EU rules for the UK which forbade us from exporting as sucessfully as Germany did, and thats one way in which being in the EU held us back.

Im still waiting for you to show that because the UK contributed less to the EU budget than Germany it put our economy at a disadvantage to theirs.

You do remember those claims you made, dont you? Or are you finding it difficult to keep track of all the things you make up?

I think the first 6 words of your reply would be enough.

Lets approach this from a different angle.

WTF said that because I can't find a post stating that. I saw a post suggesting there were different rules for different states which is absolutely true, ask the Governments of Ireland, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece.

For a member to have a trade surplus (let's use Germany as am example) another member has to have a deficit (let's use Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece as examples).

So who exactly said that there were special rules forbidding the UK to export as ,much as Germany?

WTF said that because I can't find a post stating that.
Then why quote it and attempt a reply to it?

Are there different rules which apply to differerent states, or different rules being invoked wrt different states because of different conditions in those states?

Ive said nothing about trade surpluses, only actual export levels.

Follow the trail....

Germany is a major exporter to the Asia.

I don’t know how it can be, I mean the UK had to leave the EU to trade elsewhere in the world….or so vote leave told us.

Yes, for eg. BMW or Mercedes sell their cars all over the world. Amazing seeing as they're in The EU!

Different rules for different member states!

So if JBR didnt mean that there were different rules for Germany which meant they could export their products all over the world whereas we had to leave the EU to be able to trade all over the world, what did he mean? And why did he say it?

Stop swerving, who said there were EU rules forbidding the UK to export as much as Germany.

Stop swerving,
I'm not swerving.

Notch said the UK had to leave the EU to trade elsewhere in the world, R&C pointed out that Germany could sell their cars all over the world, and JBR responded to that with "Different rules for different member states!".

Stop trying to pretend that JBR was not trying to claim that German companies benefited from EU rules which allowed them to export all over the world but forbade us which is why we had to leave - you cannot deny the reality of the seqence of posts linked by quotes.

Genuine question: Is it possible to elect to stop following a specific thread on this forum?
I seem to be receiving alerts every day, and when I look it's invariably a remoaner whingeing about our democratic decision to leave their beloved EU.
Fair enough, I did make the mistake of joining this discussion. What a mistake-a to make-a!

Somebody show JBR the door. He's tired of people showing him how utterly rubbish his beloved Brexit has turned out.

Diddums.

Theres an "Unwatch Thread" link at the top of each page.

But the mistake you really made was to post nonsense about "different rules for different member states" as an explanation for the way that Germany has successfully exported around the world when we, apparently, had to leave the EU to be able to do that, and to post nonsense about budget contributions when Germany have paid more than us and yet somehow been more successful than us.

So you run off and stick your head in the sand.

Sadly, though, that position wont stop you talking.

And Ill happily accept never hearing any more lies from leavers.

Thank you.
I'll happily leave all the EU-lovers on this forum to keep each other company whingeing about their misfortunes.
thank you for admitting you arent man enough to accept responsibility for all the brexit damage being done
