Drilling Glass

My door window is playing up. The fix would be to drill a hole and clamp it with grub washes....


What do you think? Can I drill the glass?

Yes, use a mirror/tile drill.

Unless the glass it toughend, in which case it'll just shatter into cubes

It's jumping out of its clamps. I may use CT1 to grip it

Sometimes they have a strip of rubber fitted in the clamp to hold it tight but I’d imagine anything that will permanently fix it in place would be fine….as long as it never has to come out again as you’d then probably have to change the regulator too!

You could drill it but then the hole may become a starting point for stress fractures

It’s toughened and it will blow up if you try and drill it.

Don’t do it.
