Not that extreme, but after the last shortage I did resolve to not drop below half full.It will obviously settle down pretty soon, as unless people start driving more than normal, everybody is going to have near full tanks of petrol for a while and not need petrol.
Unless people start topping up every time they can squeeze another litre in, "just in case".
Her with gin, or the car with fuel?Wife managed to fill up today, so she can get to school for the next week!
Both probably! Her with gin, or the car with fuel?
And BTW, all the shelves at Asda, Morrisons, Aldi and Lidl are fully stocked too, and have been for months, no change.
Eight garages within a couple of miles of me all have fuel and no queues at all, just one or two cars in front at the pump, but certainly no queue backing up on to the road. This was Tuesday, yesterday and today.
And BTW, all the shelves at Asda, Morrisons, Aldi and Lidl are fully stocked too, and have been for months, no change.
In Asda today, I was reminded of the Soviet Union in the 80s when they showed women queueing up for hours just for a loaf of bread. The whole frozen veg aisle at Asda was almost empty. Reckon there was barely 20% of the capacity in the freezers.
