Box for joining wires

Im going to be replacing some old halogen floodlights with a new led floodlights, i need a small round or square box to attach to the wall so i can join the wires ? what would you recommend so its neat and tidy?

And you need to use glands to suit the type and size cable that you are using.

I am not an electrician but I like the Wiska boxes (used with glands).

The back plate that the box clips on to seems to be sturdy enough to negate the need to screw the box itself to the wall.

With the glands, rather than relying solely on the silicone seals built in to the boxes, I have no concerns about the rain hitting the bowes (when using the side or lower entry points).

Round flex, flat twin & earth, steel wire armoured, plus a myriad more?? v
 
I like the preference for 'neat and tidy', over 'safe and weatherproof'! :D
To be fair, I don't see any such 'preference' having been explicitly expressed - do you?.

The OP may well have been taking it for granted that he wanted a solution which was 'safe and weatherproof' but was looking for something that would also be 'neat and tidy'.
