What have you bought today?

Had a bit of an Amazon splurge. Leather conditioner, equestrian socks, macerator descaler, cheap work boots for students, vinyl gloves, camshaft timing kit, ribbed belt remover/installer, mechanics kneeling and laying mats, ring rechargeable battery and some Promax for the dog.

Had a look around for some dubbin' to help break in my work shoes and found 'Old Wren' superb in every way. It worked into the leather well and left a brilliant shine across the surface; best of all it smells fantastic, like really good furniture polish, rich in emollients and waxy goodness to protect the leather for the rest of the year.

Just bought a state of the art vacuum cleaner for the new, real hardwood floors. Lightweight, powerful, quiet, mass of filters, very longe cable as this makes is lighter than the battery efforts, easy to use and store very compact, excellent value for money.

Often, what we buy other than the cars, most will try to copy and even our home decor inc furniture people that visit often try to imitate
Re cars, they love them but some are too jealous to admit it

Oooooh, I'm so jealous. Not! Where are the photos, then, eh? As we say on site, saying it is not the same as having it!

Cant beat some tasteful decor

We are not very rich but comfortable. If you compare our humble home with massive detached properties in Surrey and Chesire where new money has statues easily costing 15k, and several cars costing a total in excess of a couple of millions if not more that is not us. However, we have style, we have sense and spend our money wisely and get VFM and our skills in everything enhance whatever we buy.

We are no fools and do not want to be robbed by posting pics of the nice things we have we are not easily led. We have worked hard for what we have spent and saved wisely and yet we recognise the fact gas and elc prices are shooting up - we do not throw away our hard-earned money, fact

Now if you want pics of our place, in my judgment you'd copy what we had and for that reason, you won't get them nor do we want to encourage ordinary people to copy our style.

The pic of the car in my avatar is the type of car we are getting next week - not brand new as massive w/l but we are paying more than the rrp for a pre-reg car - its supply and demand and we demand we get one in a few days as opposed to a year plus, fact!

From what you write and the way you write you come across strongly as both conceited and arrogant. I am sure you don't see it that way, but there it is. You are obviously so far up your own derriere that you can't understand the what or the why of my previous post - and take it seriously enough to respond. It sort of underlines the value, or otherwise, of anything and everything you post

Oh, and to put the record straight, I, and no doubt many others, couldn't give a tuppeny damn about your "style". Even if you were Charles Eames or Eileen Gray I doubt I'd give a damn either

Your prerogative chum, you do not see that coming.

WTF has my business got to do with "ITV" as I clearly told you, I'm no show off that flaunts their hard work on tv.

No? You just "talk the talk"...

...but putting this as your signature says even more about your view of yourself:

I'm sure that others on here with more than one brain cell neither respect you, nor envy you. Pity you or laugh at you, now that I could understand
