Do the olives in rad trvs restrict the flow much when crimping them up?

I have some 8mm tails that need extending to the rad. Would it be of any benefit if I continued them to the rad valves with 10mm?

i am almost certain 10mm pipe will fit onto 8mm pipe

are you thinking slide one in the other and solder ? ( not done it myself)

Yes. Obviously clean both surfaces that will come together with solder.

Yes you’re right DP , done it a few times, usually when someone has nailed an 8 mm pipe, works like a big slip socket
