I'm looking to refit my bathroom and would like to replace a ceiling-high electric fan heater with an electric towel rail, however, the fuse switch is at ceiling height.
I don't really want to get someone in just to relocate a fuse switch a meter or so lower and introduce a step between removing the old tiles and installing the new ones.
While the top of the rad will be close to the spur, the electric heating element must be at the bottom of the rad so it is surrounded by the water/oil with no air. Could I extend the wire and run it behind one of the bars, maybe under some white wire trunking. Not all that elegant but one solution perhaps?
Any advice welcome.
