I'd Lean the the side that it has to travel less.
I wouldn't Steak a bet on that but I also wouldn't Mince around worrying about it.

I was looking on Aldi's website for ways to cut the family shopping bill.

If I have a job that a customer wants a few quid off. What I've done is get a list of materials together and issue it to 4 suppliers.
Certain things were cheaper at certain merchants.

A boiler job this month I saved £150

It's tedious but if you have time it's worth it.
I said to Mrs Bod about it but she wouldn't be arsed. If I have some time on my hands I'll try it for the shopping

Mrs Secure also suggested there were fewer bovine miles, but if that is the case, why don't they do the same elsewhere? I would be happier eating local produce and having the bonus of saving money!

I know some things in Sainsburys in Beckton, East London, are cheaper than in Sainsbury's in Hornchurch. Could be dearer rents, a more affluent area or a combination of both. We also have a Sainsburys local in Hornchurch too. That is more expensive than the main store. Just market forces I suppose.

Waitrose have a policy of sourcing as much local produce within a 30 mile radius of the store.
