Hate of Women

When it is pointed out to them that the reason they don't generate the same interest is because they just aren't as good as the men, anyone who points this out is automatically accused of hating women.
Do you have your cloth cap and pipe for being transported back to the 1950s ;)

It's almost irrelevant whether women are or aren't as 'good' as men playing the game. Anyway, like most things it's subjective. I'd assert they're not generating the same interest yet because the women's game hasn't reached that level of maturity. For girls that are into their football (whether playing or just watching) surely it's a positive thing the women's game is gaining traction?

I can't get excited about women's football. But there are some very good footballers. I wish I was as good as them in my football ⚽️ days

Who cares? I'm not saying that as a direct dig at you, I'm making a more general point.

I've said before on other threads about society going through constant change. Each generation often has a 'big change' to go through. Some are pro the change, some anti, some indifferent. Often this is linked to age and gender but not always.

With football, there will be men that still look on it as being the preserve of boys/men. How dare girls/women muscle in on their turf. Fine, they're entitled to that opinion. However, whether they like it or not, the game is and will continue to change in that regard. To me, that's only a good and positive thing.

I have young nieces. If either of them has a liking for football, surely it's a positive thing for them to see women playing the game at a pro level? It's not to say they won't enjoy the men's game as well.

I think the video is aimed at the hatred that women sports folk get. Just because they are women.
It's not about men being better at football or whatever, it's about respect, not telling women online that they hope the woman gets cancer, would rape them, the homophobic taunts, death threats etc etc. If men are upset that women are playing football then they need to basically grow up, move with the times and if they don't like it, simply don't watch it but.... stop the abuse.

A couple of people on here going by the comments could do with moving with the times, that's for sure.

I didnt take anything personally.

Regardless if I like or not they will find their ground. And good luck if they do find a career in football. If there is and interest and its sustainable then i hope they do well.

I just don't believe there is this discrimination of women from men. 99% of men want their mums wife's and daughters to get the best out of life as possible.

If someone discriminated against my girls for being female white or if they are gay or not I'd be on to them.

I have no links to prove 99%

The people you speak of here are not normal.
These people are nutters. Twitter and all these platforms could nip this by insisting on identification all that use these platforms.
