Dover...

Could you tell us exactly what this 'bail out bill' is referring to and how much it is?
To bail out the economies of failing members when they collapse. Cost unknown yet, just leave an unsigned cheque at HQ.

The real reason the leave outcome was decided, even before a single vote was cast.

Fact is the UK is now as it is. If people to some extent on both sides maintain their delusions as it makes them feel more comfortable that is fine by me. However one side now is obviously very delusional in certain areas. They are for out.

All need to ask the question why that enormous market it contains is not being exploited by UK business when it appears that they still can but with a little more difficulty true but those difficulties will apply to any country we deal with.

The other factor they need to get to grips with is that the world contains several powers. The EU is one of them but the UK isn't. Others are USA and China and Russia in some ways could be added as well but perhaps not now. Powers vie with each other for business. Interfering with a countries politics is common.

It doesn't matter how much you Remoaners whinge about it, we have left the Empire and we are not going back as long as the majority want to keep our independence.
The EU is beginning to realise that their grand plan is beginning to fail. Watch this space!

That happened after the war but you'd think according to the latest crop of Borisites, the days of The Raj had just begun.

The EU is beginning to realise that their grand plan is beginning to fail
Oh Jezus! Not more "on the brink" Daily mail nonsense surely?

Yup, the wail, express and torygraph keep on whingeing about the EU, Germany and France on a daily basis.

We won - we left the EU - get over it FFS.

it maybe and we may be too. Current world situation is NVG. Political problems all over the place. Economies being squeezed and etc.

Even USA politics is messed due to Trump's lot. Boris has similarities. He says we need to keep close to them. Maybe he heard Clarke's prediction. One day we will be another star on their flag. Does anyone fancy that?

I already said it was htv. And granted it was the port authority that gave the ‘order’ (since when the port authority gave orders to people to stay in their houses I don’t know). It does not alter the fact that the news channel reiterated the ‘order’ as if it was the norm.
And now you come here condoning and stupidly ignoring the fact that the port authority think it acceptable to order people to stay in their houses , to gain a pathetic point in a pathetic p!ssing contest against me on a pathetic diy forum .
Get a life and stop being a twit.
So that's a no, then.

If we have taken back control, how come our woes are the fault of the French?
Simple, because we haven't taken back control. May tried to keep us in the EU by stealth and produced her 'solution' to show that she'd obtain our independence. Boris took over and produced his infamous 'oven ready deal' which was based on May's solution. This achieved only BRINO and we are still tied to both the EU in many ways (including regarding Northern Ireland and our fishing areas) and also the ECHR. The only way that Boris could manage to extract us from the EU's control was to agree to continue to pay them for 'ongoing expenses' and also that we would not benefit in any way for all the work we had done on earlier projects, including Galileo.
There is also the continuing problem of illegal immigration across the Channel. While this is due to the government doing nothing other than making the effort to pick them up mid-Channel and bring them here, it is also the fault of the French for allowing (and no doubt encouraging) them to set sail from their coastline and turning a blind eye to the trafficking operations on their land.
Admittedly, both problems are mainly our own (or rather our government's) fault, the French are doing their best to make us pay for leaving their control.
