How to replace these downlights?

I'm sure this should be easy.
We've just moved into a new(ish)build 6 years old.
Downlights everywhere but some need to be replaced.
.
I thought these would be easy to push, or twist, from the inside, but these are all quite stuck. Nothing loose or twistable and I've tried 6 of them.

Am I being a numpty? Should these be easy to remove? If so, how. Thanks

The downlight will be held into the ceiling with spring clips. Carefully pull the light downwards and you should see the two spring legs. Try and stop the spring whacking back on your hand as you pull it free from the ceiling. It’s like putting your hand in a mouse trap if you not careful.

So the whole light metal part should come away from the painted ceiling?

If you are replacing them then you obviously change the whole thing.

Or did you want to do something other than replacement?

Ah. I misunderstood what you meant by

some need to be replaced.

If it us possible to replace the lamp, then usually you turn the inner circle anti-clockwise.
However
Not all can be replaced. Integrated fittings need total replacement ( cr@p I know).

If you can’t find a way, then try and ease one out of the ceiling and tell us the make and model.

Little follow up, pulled the whole section out. GU10 bulb held in by mini springs.

Hmm. Usually you can get at the lamp without having to take the whole thing out of the ceiling. There’s always the risk of damage to plaster & paintwork.

I looked at the spec

Unless you can see another way you may be stuck with having to do that. Or give them a call. The number is on the spec sheet. Good luck!

Good point. That makes getting replacements in Tesco or IKEA impossible.
