Double fees for wealthy in NHS Scotland

The irony being they want to be ruled by Brussels.
Can i presume that wasn't irony but sarcasm, me old sprout?
Nationalists don't want to be ruled by another country or a Federal Europe.

Read into want you, same as the Irish farmers (along the with the dutch) are having their arxe handed to them on a plate, along with their government told to go back and think again on their budget proposals. Bit like Truss eh, perhaps instead of voting for politicians we should vote for who our favourite freemason is.

It's all going to plan...

For the american health insurance giants that is!

Experiment on a small region of the UK and then roll it out nationwide...

And then make everyone take out health insurance...

Only that doesn't work when people already don't have any spare cash does it...

The NHS in effect is doomed!

The private health companies are in it for profit, NS is presumably doing it because she doesn’t have devolved powers to raise income tax further, and it stoked up class hatred and therefore helps the case for independence. Classic politicians move.

Blup

But I thought, according to you, that was the Tory and 'Borisconi' plan? Scotland are not run by the Tories are they?

The NHS in effect is doomed!
Only in your dreams, dry or otherwise!

I would've thought that the 'wealthy' already have private health insurance.

I can't see them putting up with a health service that's not fit for purpose.

Time for a referendum? Working people blindly keep paying for a nhs and when age creeps up on them and they have to call upon it, I'm sure the question why they've paid into such an institution crosses their mind.

Honestly, not for me. Me and mine have had treatment as and when required over the past few years. Sure it could always be better but I don't find it as bad as some people think.

That's great for you and yours denso but not much comfort to the 7m people currently languishing in the backlog waiting for treatment :(

My concern is people will fear going to the doctors due to the risk of running up a bill. It would also be only fair for people to opt out and get private treatment.
