On another thread someone has suggested that I use Wago connectors instead of choc blocks. These are new to me but I agree, look good.

Before I purchase can someone explain to me how they are supposed to work? Googling it I seem to get both options: 1. putting all wires of the same pole type together and 2. putting each pole into each hole.

Are they linked inside or not?

Are they small enough to fit inside a ceiling rose fitting?

Confused??

I suspect the marketing department is not up to doing electrics.

The second picture is just as bad with a Green&yellow link wire from the (presumably) Neutrals to CPCs (Earths).

Edit - I think it might be an optical illusion but it is still unfortunate to look as it does.

Ah, thanks everyone. Much appreciated.
I see on Amazon that the 221 is about 2cm x 2cm x 1cm so seem pretty small and doable.
Thanks

I think I'd use a choc blocks to terminate the light fitting you want use (in the other thread) as the stranded wires do not look very thick and solid core are better for Wagos

Yes, I realise that now. I have edited my post.
In fact, had it been as you initially thought, it would have been 'doubly wrong' since, quite apart from there being a link from (presumed) neutrals and CPCs, it would have been depicting two conductors in one Wago terminal!

Kind Regards, John

This may be of interest : -

"a "Clamping Spring" holds each stripped conductor against a common "Connection Plate" - which provides the connectivity between the conductors."

(Wago 221 connectors are similar in construction)
