You might note that at 4400 ppm, the earths temperature was roughly the same as it is today! AND an ice age occurred while CO2 was over…medium.com

So we are wasting billions to try and fix a problem that doesn’t need to be fixed!

I have a sneaking suspicion you will pooh-pooh everything I write here, but I shall proceed regardless.
There have been several exceptional winters, more recently 2009 or 10 from memory. But 81 or 82 was really bad. Going further back, there was a spectacularly bad winter in 47 and another in 62.
Going the other way temperature-wise, there have been some hot years, wild fires etc...
Maybe not all personally experienced by me, but my sister's lived through it all except the 47 winter.
