This is what we were taught in biology in High School.

There are two genders. Male and Female. Each is identified by the chromosome composition and cannot be changed from one to the other.
There is also a condition which has components of both genders. These are referred to as Hermaphrodites, as they are neither fully, male or female.

Sex is the consensual act of sexual intercourse between 2 people of either, male+female, male+male or female+female.
Sex and gender are not interchangeable. Whilst medical procedures can PHYSICALLY change the appearance of either sex, it does not change the underlying gender.

in this gender fluid world you dont think its a genuine question , how bigoted are you ?
It's a genuine concern, and it's very difficult to answer.
We all have our own little hangups.
Some people have very big problems dealing with the multifacted nature of society.

Reading an article this morning, about people who discover surprises in their ethnicity DNA results. Others whose DNA results provide answers for long-held suspicions. Som excellent insights in there about how people had to question how much of their behaviour was micro-racism or appropriation.
Here it is if you want to read it:

So much of it is transferable to gender identity.
Some bits of it are tea-spittingly laughable. here's one bit:
DNA results caused some Stormfront (a white supremacist website) members to rethink their understanding of racial purity altogether. "There were discussions among people along the lines of: 'We're going to have to revise our definitions of who is white if we're going to maintain this movement.'" They noticed conversations on the message boards about whether there should be a genetic definition of race, and, if so, where the cut-off for whiteness might be.
Race is negotiable, even among racists. "Even the white nationalists do not have a stable and permanent understanding of what the white race is, but are in a constant state of renegotiating, arguing and having conflicts with each other about what it means, changing the gates and the fences," says Panofsky.

I think it's fairly well established that "race", "ethnicity" etc comes in many shades of grey. It's based on the origin of your parents. I don't think anyone with a brain, is suggesting that because you have a mum and a dad, you are somehow a mix of both sexes. Thats not really how the biology works.

The human genome is organized into 23 pairs of chromosomes (22 pairs of autosomes and one pair of sex chromosomes), with each parent contributing one chromosome per pair. The X and Y chromosomes, also known as the sex chromosomes, determine the biological sex of an individual: females inherit an X chromosome from the father for a XX genotype, while males inherit a Y chromosome from the father for a XY genotype (mothers only pass on X chromosomes). The presence or absence of the Y chromosome is critical because it contains the genes necessary to override the biological default - female development - and cause the development of the male reproductive system.

Are you suggesting Humans are evolving to become asexual? And I mean the biological definition of the term not people who need a name tag for their neurodiversity
Although the Y chromosome's role in sex determination is clear, research has shown that it is undergoing rapid evolutionary deterioration. Many generations ago the Y chromosome was large, and contained as many genes as the X chromosome. Now it is a fraction of its past size and contains fewer than 80 functional genes. This has led to debates and concerns over the years regarding the Y chromosome's eventual destiny. Many speculate that the Y chromosome has become superfluous and could completely decay within the next 10 million years. While studies of the Y chromosome have been challenging due to the palindromic and repeat-rich nature of its DNA sequence, recent genomic advances have provided some unexpected insights.

Are you suggesting Humans are evolving to become asexual?
That is possible. We no longer live in a world where a single alpha male will mate with all the females, passing on the strongest genes. People who would never have mated in our evolutionary past now do so, and this effectively means more likely to have more intersexual people being born in society.

In fact, similar to other issues were are seeing, such as autism. Autism is a genetic condition, in the past autistic people would rarely have mated, especially with another autistic person, but now it is common.

It's a mixed up world! I wouldn't change it though (must point that out!)

We bear no resemblance to humans pre-ice age

I read a quote from some anthropologist, who said something along the lines that "if you gave a neanderthal man a haircut and a shave and put him in a suit, no-one on the subway would look twice at him".

Which gives the lie to your post.

It's also based on the tasks your brain has to do. Neurones, Mylene etc.. The more we do something, the better we get at it. We learn to count to 50, because our parents help us, we learn out tables, because we practice them. Not to mention as to your point that somebody had a think about counting and realised it would be easier in decimal.

A neanderthal would probably whip our butts at spear chucking. Their brains were a similar size.

Certainly sex change can be virtually accomplished.

Presumably you are thinking of Cosmetic changes to appearance.

It is not possible to change your sex chromosomes, nor is it possible to make male sex organs grow in a woman, nor female sex organs in a man.

Putting a man in a frock no more turns him into a woman than does inserting silicone padding or turning his penis inside out.
