It’s odd that it has never been seen as a monopoly. I have no desire to eat meat that has had a religious slaughter and would want a non believer to have equality of employment.
There is no difference between halal and kosher afaik
And I have stated this in previous past posts
Dunno if there is a law ( don’t care )
But afaik all meat served in schools is now halal slaughtered ir kosher a practice that is probably not widely known
And This is the UK not Isreal or dire ear a Stan
