Is party the incriminating word?
Either it was a party or it was a work event.

Which does it look like to you.

I dont have any problem with any politician being held to account for their actions. But let's not blur the lines between 2 different issues that some try to portray as the same

Work Party
Work Event

I'm trying to weigh it up. I have my hands out to side of my waist.

If you don't understand the difference, try looking at the pictures, and the stories about taking the wine etc in 1 of the parties, versus the pictures and any supporting stories of this 1.

If you still struggle to understand the difference then I don't think anybody can help you. You really need to work it out for yourself

work event

not a party

no birthday cake
no wife in attendance
no interior designer in attendance
no suitcases of booze
no "wine fridays at no10 events"
no lying to parliament
no music

and not during the height of a covid wave when people were dying and couldnt visit relatives

in other words zero equivalence

So you say:
Work Event = only talk about work and immune to Covid?
Work Party = only talk anything but work but your likely to catch Covid?

No, that's not what I said.

I said, do a little research and find the evidence and differences for yourself

How about food?
Ex-UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson "deliberately" lied to the British Parliament on multiple occasions during the "Partygate" scandal, a parliamentary committee of enquiry concluded on Thursday.
Johnson is the first Prime Minister to have been found guilty of lying to both the British Parliament and the Privileges Committee, as well as for "undermining confidence in the democratic process of the House [of Parliament]."
Having been informed of the findings of the committee last week, the former British Prime Minister resigned as a Member of Parliament last Friday.
Had he not resigned, Johnson would have faced a 90-day suspension for his actions, as per the enquiry committee's findings, "for repeated contempts and for seeking to undermine the parliamentary process."

One for the history books

"The contempt was all the more serious because it was committed by the Prime Minister, the most senior member of the government. There is no precedent for a Prime Minister having been found to have deliberately misled the House," the inquiry report noted.

Some were social events - including the 20 May 2020 drinks attended by the prime minister, that led to his public apology this week. How do we know? Because ITV obtained the email that had invited staff to "bring your own booze" to "socially distanced drinks in the No 10 garden".
However, Boris Johnson has insisted he believed "implicitly that this was a work event" arguing that the No 10 garden was often used "as an extension of the office".
There have also been questions about the nature of an event on 15 May 2020. A picture published by the Guardian shows about 19 people, including Mr Johnson and his wife, sitting in the garden with bottles of wine and a cheeseboard. The prime minister said this picture showed "people at work, talking about work".
