"Desecration" is very broad. I respect people's right to religion, but I do not believe criticism of their beliefs is religious hatred.

In the real world I don't know many people who are fans of this government.

People can criticise and debunk religion by argument itself. I don't support ripping pages out of the bible and shouting "this is boll@x", which is just looking for trouble.
