The only thing i like about Trump is he is a business man running a business(ie the country and economy) as opposed to bullshit politicians that have no idea.
I don't agree with Putin taking a square meter of Ukraine it's unbelievable. Just like Israel shouldn't be squeezing land from the Palestinians either.
At the end of the day though USA isn't the super power it used to be, Putins axis of evil gives him enough comfort to just keep on going with his genocidal route, in fact is genocide spans Ukraine and his own people. We have no idea how much the Ukraine war has affected us globally, what is being released there in munitions and other chemicals, how many refineries and pipelines spew gas and oil into the air for days/weeks, its an ecological disaster also, he should hang his head in shame yet trundles on every day with the good cause of 'making Russia great again'.
I have to admit when i was a teenager and witnessed operation desert storm i looked forward to seeing A10's destroy them Elite guards etc, i feel shame and embarrassment over it all now, Putin is 72 he should know better, along with a string of other tyrants who should all be vapourised for the good of this planet.
In that group id actually say Starmer excluded he's just not got my interests at all and as all socialists do, they chase this idealistic magic money tree theory that the 'rich' will pay for the poor. Almost as deluded as Putin.

It will be interesting to see if it works. My gut feeling is that international diplomacy is a lot more complex and subtle than a business deal. It could be argued that bullying countries and peoples into deals they didn't want is what caused the whole Middle East problem in the first place.

Don't disagree with a lot of that, but the magic money tree does exist, its called tax. A few years ago it was even more magical, when it went by the name of furlough. Plenty of takers then, and that is a big part of the long term black hole we face, well beyond the life of this and future parliaments.

China have replaced the US and us as the manufacturing hub of the world. Of course he is going to start a trade war. He hopes to revive the manufacturing hub in his own country.

Afghanistan was used as turf for the US and Russia to fight a war on. The West tried to bring Western democracy to Afghanistan and for a short while there was. It is and always was questionable if the Taliban would live up to their part of the agreement.

North Korea is dangerous with regards to nuclear weapons. Is it not better to be on friendly terms with a possible adversary when your other enemies are only too willing to adopt them?
