I'm not a fan. I'll go further than that and say I don't like him, In fact I'll go even further and say I loathe and hate him with every fibre in my body.

But credit where credit's due, watching Newsnight this evening I get the impression that his meeting with the Donald went quite well, better than expected even.

The future's bright, the future's orange. (y)

How very odd. I was not a fan of the previous Govt., not one bit, but I wouldn't have said that I loathed and hated the PM with every fibre in my body.
That's very personal.

What leads you to make that statement?

Went well? He played the orange moron like a fiddle. Had he hinted that he might nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize, he'd have got a bj on live tv..

your comments in general show a lack off logic and maybe some common sense
yes make the political dogma point we accept that but the other levels off froth and pointless further negative levels added shows a bit off pointless perhaps bravado may show a bit off immaturity in a discussion where adults deal in a discussion with the main focus aimed in the central ground where we hope the ones presenting the other side will present in a well rounded mature way
and yes we are all guilty including me -----off getting the ballance wrong in a sometimes frothy immature way :giggle:

Trump does seem to act like a petulant child and even has the same vocabulary.
Remember his last visit....

Its a pensioner thing. You can just picture the miserable old duffers, sniffling behind their Wail rags, chuntering and seething, as they are fed a daily diet of hatred.

Trump is in power, nothing anyone can do about that. only thing to do if we want to trade with the US is to work with him. He is going to stop the war in Ukraine, he is going to do a trade deal with the UK, so what if he says a few stupid things or you simply just don't like him, big deal just get over it and move on. The world will be a better place with Trump as we are now seeing.

Would you prefer folk not to criticise The Orange Moron?

In what way are 'we seeing'?

I find it extraordinary that me expressing a dislike for Starmer has caused more of a stir than my begrudging praise for him doing a reasonable job with the US visit.

Especially given the 'lefts' expressions of love for the Donald posted on this board up to 100 times a day.
