No, we really aren't financing a war with anyone. Ukraine are defending themselves from a violent aggressor, nothing more.We are helping to finance it so I'm just showing the UK's financial position.

According to the few on here, we have bottomless pockets and we just print money to fund a war.We are helping to finance it so I'm just showing the UK's financial position.
So we are not financing Ukraine to defend themselves? No, we really aren't financing a war with anyone. Ukraine are defending themselves from a violent aggressor, nothing more.

Where is the money coming from for Ukraine to do this? No, we really aren't financing a war with anyone. Ukraine are defending themselves from a violent aggressor, nothing more.
I don't know how old you are, but I suspect you are in the latter years of you life. It isn't you who is going to feel this financial burden if we step up our military support against Russia. I'm not saying we shouldn't per se, I'm saying look at our financial state and be serious about whether we can afford this. The hardship on everyday Brits to come can not be swept aside as if it is nothing to worry about.War is very expensive!
But sometimes it is a price which has to be paid.

fighting a war you cannot afford is equally silly, especially one you cannot win. This is just getting sillier. I think that bike ride will clear your head!
Decisions about war and peace should not be trivialised by comparing them to buying a luxury car.

I didn't need to use translate. These are two words I learnt that I remembered.Do you consider it clever by using Google translate to reply to someone who speaks English? Could you not reply in English which is your language?

Stop this silly saying of how I am getting wound up as I AM NOTI didn't need to use translate. These are two words I learnt that I remembered.
I considered it not clever, but witty, considering we were talking about a conflict involving Russia.
But you just got all wound up about it.
Heaven knows why. It wasn't even you I was answering to.
Unless of course ......

I disagree but that is your opinion, I am not going to change it for you. Let us see how it pans out because it is not often that I am wrong, but I will be right againIt all comes down to your overall perspective. I believe if Europe gives in, Putin will not stop here. And the financial cost will be many, many times greater in future. It's a bit like the old saying "a stitch in time saves nine".
If that were the case then the West should've stepped in when Russia invaded Ukraine. It all comes down to your overall perspective. I believe if Europe gives in, Putin will not stop here. As well as Crimea and Chechyna, but nobody was worried then.If that were the case then the West should've stepped in when Russia invaded Ukraine.
