I’ll get a few for van stock.

I hate it when the screws are fooked and taking the spur out turns into a pain
Especially when there are cables passing through the box but not making a connection, so no break in them.
What do electricians do in those situations?
I always wondered.
Do you split the cable and make a wago joint in the new back box?

Usually no option, I don't like running cables through back boxes personally if it can be avoided but rather than chop up a wall you sometimes are faced with wago

I thought the electrics in my Mum's house are old.

I had my house fully rewired when I built my first extension in the early 2000's. When my electrician wired up my dining room extension about four years ago, he said the CU was dated, ripped it out and fitted a load of new better-faster-stronger gear with a metal box and lid.

It's all witchcraft to me. He did give me a run-down of the benefits and I nodded along enthusiastically.

I do like the metal box and metal lift-up lid though. (y)
Worst regulation to ever come out was when dis boards have to be made of non combustable material, horrible things

I'm finding a few disasters this week :-(
