School scraps Easter service to respect other religions

I wonder what the makeup of the governors is?
I was curious
There's one fantasist, a "baptist" who has made allegations aginst the HT - maybe we can guess why...

The full list of Amins, Patels, Mohammeds, Khans, Rebeccas, Fatemahs Isaacs and Goldbergs is here

Matt Goodwin works for Institute of Economic affairs, a lobby group funded by Libertarian RW groups, fossil fuels interests, tobacco industry.

The IEA want to privatise the NHS

Phoney culture wars and hatred of foreigners is just to get the easily led on board

Friend of the family is a teacher who has a friend who teaches in The Midlands. The Midlands teacher had been at the same school for many years, mostly white kids with the odd one by law. As time went on, the mix changed, and more ethnics started at the school, gradually increasing in number. As they increased, the parents started demanding prayer rooms and for lessons to be arranged around prayers. Fair play to the headmistress, she successfully fought it and took it all the way to The DOE.

If it had been me I would have agreed to their demands. No problem - all pupils will say The Lord's prayer at the start of every lesson. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Cheeky feckers!
I think that should be manditory in all British schools. I do not mind different cultures and religions integrating, but there lies the problem, they never do. A British school should not be something that is offensive by practicing what is a British thing.

It wouldn’t surprise me if it was trying to keep Ofsted sweet

It might have been a nice idea to keep the Easter service, but also use it to discuss the close links between Christianity and Islam and the position of Jesus in both religions.
