Having studied and worked in the US I can tell you for a fact that the terms of those visas can be pretty tough depending on the situation as judged by the state department. My 2014 visa states" you will not engage in any political activity. That was for a 6 week course on hydrology over the November election cycle. My 2018 work visa carried the one that stated "any misdemeanour other than traffic violations will cause this visa to be revoked. That's when Trump was targeting Mexicans on agricultural work visas who he blamed for petty crime, it was struck down whilst I was there, got a txt from immigration telling me to ignore it and that due process would apply.
When you are given the visa you get the terms that apply and sign to say you agree with them. Basically this came about because the Supreme court said that the constitution applied to everybody unless a person agreed that the constitution did not apply.

Terrible scenes in Israel at the moment of hamas fighters killing hundreds of civilians, whole families wiped out in their own homes, a dead naked young woman being paraded and groped around the streets, hopefully Israel gets a grip on this and the outcome is massive strikes on those responsible.

I have stated many times on here my sympathy for the Jews (and others) who suffered on Oct 7th
And I have condemned Hamas atrocities many times
