US Ambassador to Ukraine quits

Trump constantly denied knowing anything about Project 2025 before the election.

Since Trump has elected, his policies have been the entire Project 2025 playbook.

MAGAs like Lirefighter have gone awfully quiet about that
You're saying that as though I disagree with everything in the document and feel ashamed by it.
I don't.

One thing I don't get about the tariffs on China are the predictions for the price rises. I was reading a case study for a typical importer of Chinese manufactured goods. He said the cost of the product to him was $5 inc. shipping. But then the costs of marketing, sale and transport were $15. And he sold it for $25, to give himself a profit of $5. So, if there is an extra 100% import tariff, that only increases the overall price by $5. It doesn't double it as many in the media have claimed.

Not the legacy media I read. The usual line taken is that Americans only have themselves to blame if things go t!ts up, because Trump promised most of this during his campaign.
A lot depends on who defines what tit's up means.
It's all rather Brexit like.

They say time flies when you're having fun!
I find it all rather entertaining.

I have been utterly fascinated. But trying to follow it all to the level required is exhausting. Which is all part of the strategy, according to Steve Bannon. I can only take so much of a pounding.

Most of it, yes. The rest is just broken promises. Standard Trump and his lies.
He didn't start any wars, He didnt start prices rising, they already were. So just the migrants left that is down to him. I am sure people are grateful for that.

He didn't start any wars,
He said he'd end them - fail.

He didnt start prices rising
His tarrifs are already having an effect. Regardless he said he'd bring prices down. He hasn't - fail.
So just the migrants left that is down to him
Farmers, hoteliers etc are fuming.
I am sure people are grateful for that.
Yes, they are dancing in the streets because their pets are safe now.

I certainly don't follow all the goings on in a pious manner, or what you could even call an amateur amount of dedication, but one of the great hopes I had when he stood for a second term was the inevitable meltdown from the lefties if he was elected.
It's hilarious.
I really didn't expect that he would attempt such a scorched earth strategy from the get go, although I am pleased he did.
My jaw was on the table after listening to his first inauguration speech for all the wrong reasons.
After listening to his second, a small part of me wished I was born in the USA.

What's even funnier is watching those that elected him and his own Republican stalwarts, crying into their Kool-Aid.

Agree, it comedy gold.
