Why do some posters pretend to be a train or a dog?

Is this a forum for presenting sound effects of animate and inanimate objects?

Choo Choo

Woof woof.

Or do they feel the need to make some form of contribution, but are unable to form a coherent response in English?

Woof?

Why do some people join a forum and pretend to be a different person having been previously banned from that forum under a different name? Why do some people join a DIY forum and clock up nearly 300 posts in a week, many of which have fùck all to do with DIY? Why do they do that? Where were they spouting off just a week ago or have they suddenly and unexplainably developed an urge for frequent internet forum posting?

You can be whatever you want to be...
You suggested that, now you're moaning about it?

Why are you pretending to be one of the world wars? Or a third of the internet?
I am not sitting here shouting boom, or thud, or crash. So there's no pretence on my part.

I doubt if the whole of Uk internet traffic approaches anywhere near a third of internet traffic.

So could you explain your comment more succinctly, please.

To answer your questions:
If someone is banned, I would imagine they are forced to rejoin under a different name.
If I am mistaken, please explain how one re-joins after a ban.

Number of posts.
I wasn't aware that there was any implied limit to posting when I signed up. If I am mistaken, please point me to the guidance that you think exists.

The current forum is for General Discussion, i.e non-DIY stuff. So I was under the impression that I was posting in the correct forum.
If i am mistaken, please explain where I should be posting and what kind of discussions are allowed in this forum.

I was 'spouting off' in a different place about a week ago. I now find myself indisposed to attend that same place, and with time on my hands to access a different place, to 'spout off'. I also find that I can not undertake many of my previous enjoyed activities, albeit on a temporary basis, I hope.
Do you have any problems with that? Or do you not welcome new members?
