But I'm absolutely sure that if you spoke to anybody involved in moderating or refereeing debates, they would agree with me that making train or dog noises instead of arguing for or against the motion is not the way it's done.

What I don't understand is why join in a discussion if you don't actually want to discuss the topic, but just want to make childish noises? What is the point?
