…I never even measured once! I just 'guessed' that I’d need 4 sheets of 8’ x 4’ ply to cover the floor of our small bedroom. I nearly ordered 5! Whoops! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

you will need 3, I would lie it the other way side to side, sods law will mean the join will be right above a floor board join
and sods law will mean it will be half an inch short, looks too close to call on the width been 2440 or less

Measure twice cut once has always been my mantra. Unfortunately it's a mantra that surgeons seem to be unaware of. After my hip replacement I may have one leg slightly longer than the other, I'll get it checked properly when I'm fully recovered.
Annoyingly, the surgeons notes say that the leg to be operated on was 6mm longer than the other (news to me) and they would compensate for that in the procedure, they seem to have compensated for it by adding 20mm. Bastards.

All done. If I could cut a straight line, I could have got away with just 3 sheets of ply but using my jigsaw with a rough blade, my cuts were a bit wonky. Doesn’t matter though, those cuts were going to the wall. Amazingly, I didn’t put a screw through a single cable or pipe so that’s a bonus in my book. :ROFLMAO: I tell you what I learned today though, that if you’re using an cordless driver and you miss the board below and go through a gap, if you put the driver in reverse and take the screw out, don't touch the effing screw for a few minutes 'cos they are bloody hot!

I had this much left over.

Sue them for the cost of new trousers and enjoy the view.

I am disappointed by the puniness of your battery there @Mottie. I always had you down as a 5ah battery kind of guy :D
I don’t do stretches of 15 minutes or more these days before needing a break and a browse so small batteries are perfect for me. I’m on a break right now…aggro putting a blind up!
