"steeling" back your own car

(y)(y)

Although, having that attitude to life probably means that you're not going to fit in with all the angry curmudgeons on here!
Members with an angry attitude do not bother me in the slightest. Over my life I've grown to ignore the arseholes in society and carry on regardless. At early school I was always referred to as the "filthy stinking y id" and that all stopped when I outgrew the lot to be 6' 6" and built like a brick outhouse. Some of those who tried to intimidate me are now my tenants, so it's their turn to mind their P's and Q's

Please expand on these tiers.
I missed this.

The claim by some that we have a two tier justice system based on ethnic, gender and political criteria.

There is some evidence around gender and until the discrimination around pre-sentencing reports is addressed, this will keep going.

So is she being given a more harsh sentence because she's a woman, they do seem to get disproportionate custodial sentences for non violent crimes, or overly soft because she's white and middle class?

I briefly worked at Portbury Docks years ago. A docker had his motorbike stolen. He phoned local Old Bill to tell them he could see his bike through the fence at the members of the poor, opressed-minority, misunderstood travelling folk's site. He asked them if they could visit and retrieve it for him. They weren't interested at all, until he said in that case he would visit with a couple of dozen of his mates from the docks. Cops got it back for him in a flash.
Same story with my friend's pushbike.
Quite unique, so when it went up for sale on gumtree he got in touch with the seller for a viewing.
Appointment in a tesco car park.
My friend went to police station and they told him not to go.
He told them he was going with 10 big mates to retrieve the bike and asked for this to be logged and a reference number.
Immediately escort of 2 plain clothes officers was organised, bike retrieved and thief arrested (they knew the f#cker by first name).

Is she middle class? I didn’t get that impression.

Society tends to given lower sentences to women.

In this case I think 4 years for a tweet that was quickly removed is on the high side, when there was a guilty plea.

Just my opinion.

4 years does sound harsh, especially since she got more like 2 and a half. (31 months https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdx5v1vzy01o)

Her husband is a town councillor and company director. Middle class enough.

She looks to be the the modern day equivalent of a head on a spike on London bridge.

(they knew the f#cker by first name).

They know all the repeat scuzzers by first name because the police keep wasting their time chasing and arresting them - only for liberal judges/'justice' system to turn them back out. It's a revolving door. Some of this pond life has tens or hundreds of crimes to their names, but still walk the streets making life misery for others.

Exactly!
There should be a law whereby any judge giving out a lenient sentence to these poor churchgoers angels should serve 30 days in prison when they re-offend.
Timelines to be defined of course.

I think the sentencing guidelines allow for a harsher sentence when the country is in the grip of riots. The Court of Appeal found it had all been done by the book. She has paid a heavy price for being stupid. Hopefully, others will think twice in future.

Correction: for being a racist sociopathic idiot. She's fine with the racist label.
