What have you been doing today?

Plasterer and decorator by trade but did pretty much everything except plumbing and electrics. Did a lot of full refurbs and worked with two plumbers on bathrooms.
i'll be doing all the cabinet work on the van, most of it is about having the kit, a decent track saw is probably the best bit of kit you could possibly own..
If this works out I'll flog it next year and get a high top. Got a budget of 3K but might over run if we add windows and go for revolving passenger seats, for the first time in a little while I'm quite excited.
Spreader as we call them up here! I’ve tried it and not for me, it’s proper graft!

Yeah I’ve seen my mates etc use a track saw, but I’m just not or have never been able to do proper woodwork. I can lift floor boards and put them down properly and box in pipework but that’s it.

I’m glad you’re looking forward to it mate. It’s good when things make you passionate again. I’ve had enough in the past and I’ll just find a bit of a project

Keep us updated with pics etc please.

Do they sell Atlantic on draft in your part of Kernow? It’s possibly my favourite pint

The Mrs was on my back so tap swap today.

I’m not sure I should have used clear silicone again. The gap can’t be seen in normal conditions.

They do but it tends to be mainly in restaurants or free houses, St Austell brewery unfortunately have quite a monopoly in these parts. If I see it I'll drink it, The IPA's and light ales are a bit more flavoursome than lager, but not as heavy as a traditional beer, good shout.

The flat version of it is epic.

I can’t wait to be back down there for a few pints of it. I hope they sell it around mounts bay

I'm a bit out of date on beer terminology and the whole craft ale thing. What is flat beer. I remember casks and kegs, but that was a long time ago.

I don’t know either. One version is slight fizzy, the other isn’t.

I like the none fizzy version.

I think that is what they used to call a cask. In some places down South they didn't have a frother on the end of the pump, so you didn't really get a good head. From what I remember, the slighlty fizzy one is where they have an electric pump and the flat one is where they pull you a pint by hand.
