I suspect there is a lag in data being updated over the weekend.I’m hoping the weather stays shìt! It’s stopping them coming at the moment.

No it really wouldn't.it was looney left lawyers that scuppered the Rwanda idea - that would have worked

So you are now agreeing Rwand wasn't the way forward.I disagree, asking why something hasn't been done already will get you nowhere. The fact is, it hasn't, so here we are. Braverman's Hostility strategy had some legs, but she wasn't the right person to get it through.
The previous lot, were making progress. The numbers reflected this.
off-shore detention has many advantages.
- Lower cost - the uk is not a low cost region to live
- Far away - acts as a deterrent. and avoids people disappearing.
The Rwanda scheme was too complex. Outsourcing the problem to Rwanda for money wasn't the way to go. We should simply have leased an area of land and agreed private security/immigration exemptions. Its no different to a military base etc.
They don’t put the previous days data up until late the following day. So far there’s been no boats and no asylum seekers for the last 4 days. Once the data is published, it is never changed. https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...he-english-channel-in-small-boats-last-7-daysI suspect there is a lag in data being updated over the weekend.

And not just the current 1. The previous shambles had years and achieved zilchI think we all know this won't be stopped without, and here comes the important word, significant changes to the current approach/strategy.
Nothing government's doing on this is significant. Nothing.
Tinkering will have ZERO effect on the gangs.
As I've said before, my frustration on this is less directed to the individual immigrants. Hey, if a sh1te and ineffective process is there to be exploited, folk are going to exploit. It's government my frustration is with.

No, it was the courts. Even governments have to follow the law.it was looney left lawyers that scuppered the Rwanda idea
Yes, as usual, p1ss poor forward planning. Hey, anyone would think we elect these folk to run the country effectively and efficiently. And not just the current 1. The previous shambles had years and achieved zilch

You'll find I've been consistent in my view.So you are now agreeing Rwand wasn't the way forward.
Took you a while but hey ho

Who makes the law?No, it was the courts. Even governments have to follow the law.

The main problem that we have is with our politicians and allowing this invasion, they are all so wrapped up in human rights and human rights laws that they have lost all control and a grip on the situation. None of them are fit for purpose and none of them are looking after our own people. Instead they are endangering us by allowing these people to flood our country and disrupt our lives. Every single one of these ilegals should be dealt with accordingly. Not put in hotels, not given phones, not allowed to roam around freely, not given money, not pampered to by these human rights do gooders. They hit our shores and should be immediately placed in a detention centre. Fed basic meals and given emergency medical treatment only. Processed quickly and sent away from our shores. We need a strong governing body who can stand up to these insane do gooders. Enter Reform and Nigel Farage.

That you fully supported the Rwanda plan. You'll find I've been consistent in my view.
