Other massive problem is if Russia suffered massive losses quickly through air power, it would more likely turn nuclear from Russia in response. It would be all that they could do.

That is the full problem with going to war with Russia, NATO has a lot of superior weapons, better equipped army and navy and air force. Russia unfortunately has what terrifies everyone, Nuclear weapons and it would use them.
